Three foreign nationals arrested in Iowa this summer may learn their fate today (Wednesday). The three were among about a dozen who came to the U.S. on student visas but never showed up for classes they’d come to attend, in Montana.

Arrested in Des Moines, they’re jailed in Omaha, all three identified as Egyptian citizens. Mohammed Ibrahim El Said El Moghazy, Moustafa Wagdy Moustafa El Gafary, and Ahmed Rafaat Saad El Moghazi El Laket have hearings today before an immigrations judge, and may find out if they’ll remain in custody or will be deported.
