The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office says a man from North Dakota was found dead earlier this week at a truck stop on the west edge of Missouri Valley. The investigation started when police in Grand Forks, North Dakota, received a report of an “overdue motorist,” and the motorist’s cell phone was traced to a cell tower near Missouri Valley.

The missing motorist, identified as 66-year-old Thomas Devin of Inkster, North Dakota, was found dead at a truck stop near Missouri Valley, still inside the school bus he had been driving. Authorities say Devin had picked up the school bus in Colorado and was on his way back to North Dakota. Reports say Devin had been at the truck stop since September 13th. The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office says there is no evidence of foul play, but an autopsy will be conducted on Devin’s body to determine a cause of death.
