One person was killed when a small plane crashed this (Friday) morning in the Sioux City metro area.
An eyewitness says the plane apparently lost power and went into a flat tailspin. The point of impact was on the northwest corner of Gunderson Fireworks in North Sioux City, South Dakota. The structure was not hit.

The plane hit the ground and the pilot, believed to be the only occupant, was thrown out. The pilot has not yet been identified.
