Jury selection begins today (Monday) in the murder trial of a Nebraska stripper who’s charged with killing an Iowa client. Thirty-year-old Andrea Morris of Lincoln is accused in the stabbing death of 43-year-old Iowa Public TV worker Patrick McRae at his Des Moines home in October of 1999.

Morris was charged years after the crime after an alleged witness came forward. Mars Davis claims he gave Morris a ride to McRae’s home after her shift at a Des Moines-area strip club. Mars says he saw Morris leave later, covered in blood and carrying a bag full of things from McRae’s house.

Morris’ lawyer says it was Mars who committed the killing and claims blood was found in Mars’ S-U-V. The trial’s expected to last two weeks.
