All four victims of Friday’s plane crash in western Iowa are now identified by the Iowa State Medical Examiner’s office. According to the Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Department, the victims include 31-year-old April Myers and 44-year-old Shawn Sorenson-Peters, of Council Bluffs, 43-year-old Dale Peckham, of Glenwood, and the pilot of the aircraft, 51-year-old Steve Revord. His wife Lisa says Revord was an experienced pilot and a flight instructor.

Sorenson-Peters was the director of Color Ink Corporation of Council Bluffs, a division of Dallas Johnson Greenhouses. She hired Revord to fly the company-owned plane. Peckham was an employee of the Greenhouse. It is not clear though, if Myers was also an employee of the company.

Authorities say the twin-engine plane was returning to Iowa from Arkansas when it crashed shortly after nine p.m. Friday. Weather may have played a role in bringing the aircraft down, but the official cause of the crash has not been determined, and authorities say it may take up to a year to find out what happened.
