The 35-year-old man accused of taking explicit Polaroid pictures of a young Cedar Rapids girl who was later killed by his brother has been found guilty on all six counts of sexual exploitation and child pornography.

Roger Bentley was found guilty of kidnapping 10-year-old Jetseta Gage and murdering her in a mobile home in rural Johnson County. His younger brother, James, was in jail at the time of the murder, facing charges that he had taken the pornographic photos of Jetseta in his Cedar Rapids home and had sexually abused her over a period of years.

James Bentley, who is now 35, was convicted today in federal court on the child porn charges. Two sexual abuse cases are still pending against Bentley in state court.

James Bentley had dated Jetseta’s mother before he married another woman.
