Eager kids and serious farm toy collectors from across the Midwest are heading to the home of the "Field of Dreams" for this weekend’s 22nd annual Farm Toy Show. Amanda Schwartz is the show manager at the National Farm Toy Museum in Dyersville and says more than 400 tables will be lined with practically every imaginable type of farm toy.

Schwartz says there are all types of tractors in all sizes, colors, models and scales, from tractors to wagons and dozens of implements from pint-sized plastic models to metal pedal-toys. She says some tractors have sold for an amount almost as high as the real thing in the past, but most of the toys are sensibly priced. She says prices will range from just a few dollars for the Matchbox-sized tractors to several thousand for the larger, older or more rare specimens.

Schwartz says a batch of other events are planned through the weekend that center on tractors and the rural way of life. There’s an antique tractor show at Beckman High School and a tractor parade in downtown Dyersville at 6:30 tonight. Then, starting at 7:30 P.M. at Westside Park, there’s a "Summer Stars Concert" featuring country singer Collin Raye. For more information, visit www.nationalfarmtoymuseum.com
