A Mobile Disaster Recovery Center is coming to Council Bluffs Wednesday and Thursday to help those in western Iowa affected by the storms in early May. Charlie Henderson is a spokesman with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

It’s going to be at the Council Bluffs Fire Station number 4 at 2211 Greenview Road. And that facility will be open to the public from 10 A.M. until 7:30 p.m. both days. Henderson says along with FEMA, there will be other organizations that victims can talk to.

There will also be U.S. Small Business Administration representatives there. There may be some state representatives there as well to talk about state programs. So, Henderson says, that’s what the center is about for people to come in and talk about their recovery. Henderson says they will also have officials available to help victims register for assistance.
