A 57-year-old man from Meservey was killed Thursday in a car-semi-truck collision near Goldfield. The victim is identified as Robert McNamara Junior. He was traveling eastbound on a Wright County gravel road when he collided with a northbound semi at an intersection.
The truck was driven by 25-year-old James Moser of Emmetsburg. McNamara was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene. It’s not known if Moser was hurt.
