Albert Lea, Minnesota, police have arrested a Northwood, Iowa, woman for allegedly making three bomb threats to the Wal-Mart store there. Thirty-nine-year-old Minna Gonzalez Melendez was arrested after authorities reviewed phone records and executed a search warrant at her residence on Wednesday.

According to court documents, telephone records show that calls were placed from Melendez’s cell phone to the Wal-Mart more than a dozen times, and show that all three phone calls to Wal-Mart about an alleged bomb in the store were made with her phone. The first call was made at about 11 o’clock last Friday morning, with police responding to the store shortly after.

After no bomb went off at the time the caller said it would, police and firefighters searched the store for a bomb and found nothing. Three hours later, the store received another call, with the caller saying that they needed to evacuate the store because there still was a bomb inside.
