Authorities have made a third arrest in a case involving missing funds at the Boys and Girls Club of Black Hawk County. The organization’s former concessions manager was taken into custody Monday for a probation violation. Marcus Meeks is charged with second-degree theft for the missing money.

He’s accused of taking more than $1,000 from the club’s bingo operation. Meeks has a history of criminal activity, including forgery and a prior theft charge. He’s one of three people charged in the case.

Michelle Gholston, the club’s former executive director, and Robert Neelans, the former bingo manager, were also charged in connection with the same crime earlier this year. Both recently pleaded innocent to the charges. Their trial is set to begin in early September.
