The junior second baseman singled in the eventual game winning run in the top of the seventh inning as the tenth rated Hawks edged number-seven LeMars Gehlen 7-6 in a district semifinal round game. Galles finished the game two-for-three at the plate and also drove in a pair of runs in a five-run third inning.
