He has yet to play in a regular season game for the Minnesota Vikings but former Iowa standout Chad Greenway says he does not feel like a rookie as he prepares for the start of training camp. The 2006 first round pick injured his knee in the Vikings first pre-season game last year and was lost for the season.
Greenway says he went through the meetings and the mental process and got to see how things go and now feels he went through a year and feels prepared for this year.
Greenway says he is ready for his first contact since under going surgery to repair the knee. Greenway says he’s done everything he can do to prepare in all the minicamps and felt great in those workouts.
Greenway says he is anxious for the chance to return to the field. He says it’s just around the corner when he reports, and that will be a big day.
