A mother and her two sons, plus another man, were arrested in Davenport Thursday after cops found more than 120 pounds of marijuana in their home. Police say they could smell the raw marijuana when they were standing outside the home.

Another big bust happened earlier this week in Spencer. A 23-year-old Spencer man faces a variety of charges after a Tuesday afternoon traffic stop. Wesley Allan Burrow was driving with a suspended license. Cops found marijuana, prescription drugs, a stun gun, and nearly nine-hundred dollars in cash that cops say was probably his profit from drug sales. That all came from Burrow’s car.

His mother’s home was searched later and cops found marijuana there, too. Authorities do not plan to charge his mother with any crime. Police in North Liberty found 100 pounds of pot Thursday morning. Cops had pulled over a car on a routine traffic stop and found 99 pounds of marijuana, then a search of a home in North Liberty uncovered another pound.
