A woman in the tiny southwest Iowa town of Gravity is accused of stealing from the town. Robin Lock, the former city clerk in Gravity, Iowa, was arrested Wednesday. Lock is charged with one count of first degree theft and one count of felonious conduct in office.

Lock was the city clerk in Gravity from December of 2002 until she resigned last February. Shortly after her resignation, city officials discovered money missing from city accounts. A review conducted by the State Auditor’s office found additional discrepancies in the city’s financial records. Lock was booked and is being held in the Taylor County Jail on a 10-thousand dollar bond.
