Authorities in western Iowa’s Mills County are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Monday, in Glenwood. According to officials, at around 2:15 p.m. the TierOne Bank in Glenwood was held up by a heavyset Hispanic female with highlighted red hair.

The woman presented a note to tellers indicating she was armed, but no weapon was displayed and she left the bank without incident. She was described as being five-feet, five-inches tall, and was last seen wearing brown pants, a print top and sunglasses. Glenwood police say they have descriptions from witnesses of several different vehicles that may have been used in the robbery.
