A Western Iowa Catholic school administrator who’s accused of an internet sex crime has pleaded "not guilty" to the charge. Louis Stroschein Junior, the K-through-8th-grade principal at Shelby County Catholic School, is being held in a Waterloo jail on a charge of "enticing away a minor" following his arrest in Eastern Iowa last month.

Authorities are accusing the 31-year-old Harlan man of chatting on the internet with a girl under the age of 16, and they allege Stroschein arranged to meet the girl at a Waterloo motel for sex. The "girl" was actually a law enforcement officer assigned to the Iowa Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Stroschein was arrested by Waterloo authorities on September 15th.

On Monday, during an arraignment hearing in Black Hawk County District Court, he entered a plea of "not guilty" to the charge. A bond reduction hearing was also scheduled be held Monday, but that hearing is rescheduled for next Monday at 1:30 p.m.
