Oklahoma coach Bobby Stoops says the Sooners are not concerned with their ranking as they get set to visit Iowa State. Oklahoma is fifth in the Bowl Championship Series poll but Stoops says none of that matters if they don’t continue to win.

Stoops says there’s nothing to talk about as they’re halfway through the season. He says it’s not for him to talk about, as all that matters right now is beating Iowa State. Stoops says you have to do your job each week and try and win.

Despite a 56-3 pounding at the hand of Texas Stoops expects the Cyclones to be ready to play. Stoops says being in Iowa for several years, he knows there are positive young men on the Iowa State team that will be fundamentally sound and play hard.
