A West Des Moines man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with a July homicide.
Forty-two-year old Allen Killings is in jail, accused in the slaying of 53-year-old Margaret Gottschalk of Des Moines.
Gottschalk’s body was found on the porch of a vacant house on July 9th. Police haven’t released other details on why they believe Killings murdered Gottschalk.
