The Drake Bulldogs improved to 13-1 as they rolled past Indiana State 75-50 in Des Moines. Drake won their school-record 12th straight win in handing the Sycamores their first conference loss. Drake led Indiana State by double digits for much of the second half.
Junior forward Bucky Cox 18 points and 14 rebounds. On a down note, Drake’s leading scorer Josh Young left the game with an ankle injury. Drake is now 4-0 in the Missouri Valley Conference.
