Drake’s winning streak is now 14 after a buzzer beater on the road at Bradley. Adam Emmenecker missed a driving layup, could not hit the put back but got a third chance and scored the layup in a 69-68 victory.

Emmenecker on the post game show on KRNT in Des Moines says they had five guys on the perimeter guarding them, so he thought he could go inside. "You know I thought the first one was good, somehow I got the rebound, I thought the second one was good, and then you know as time was about to expire, I got the third one, and that one was good."

Emmenecker finished with 12 points as the Bulldogs erased a seven point deficit in the final three and a half minutes to improve to 15-1 overall and 6-0 in the Valley. Next up, Drake hosts Illinois State in a first place showdown on Saturday night.

Emmenecker says he wishes they could play a little bit better as he says they didn’t have a good first half, but came out and played a strong second half. He gives Bradley credit for exploiting their weaknesses. Emmenecker says any win on the road in the Valley is good and they’ll take it.
