With no school and no game this week Iowa womens basketball coach Lisa Bluder says it seems more like summer break than the middle of the season. After beating Wisconsin in overtime last Sunday the Hawkeyes return to action on Monday night when they visit Illinois.
Bluder says it’s given them a a great opportunity to work on their team without having to focus on preparing for another team. She says it has given them time to make their team better. Bluder says they have worked on some different areas of the game.
She says they’ve worked on special game situations that can get pushed off during the season.
The Hawks are 3-3 in the Big Ten and 10-7 overall.
