The UNI Panthers are on the road in the Missouri Valley race to take on Wichita State. The Panthers are 2-3 in the league race after a home win against Missouri State and coach Ben Jacobsen says his team needs to build momentum. He says if they want to get to the top half of the standings, all the games are important right now.

The Shockers are 1-6 in the Valley and Jacobsen says injuries have been a part of that rough start. He says anytime you go through injuries, it can be tough on your team. Even with the injuries, Jacobsen says Wichita State has played some close home games.

Wichita State coach Greg Marshall says both teams are trying to climb the standings, as UNI is trying to get to the top and his team is trying to get out of the bottom. Marshall says the Panthers will provide a difficult test, as they have a veteran team with four seniors that are playing well recently.

UNI is 11-7 overall. Wichita State is 8-10.
