The UNI Panthers are at home to take on an Illinois State team that is second in the Missouri Valley race. The Panthers dropped the first matchup with the Redbirds on the road.
UNI coach Ben Jacobsen says they have to play a better basketball game and do a better job of slowing down their guards. He says slowing down Illinois State’s guard court has been something every team has had a tough time doing.
Jacobsen says the Redbirds are also very active defensively and good up and down their lineup.
The Panthers are 4-5 in the Valley and 12-8 overall.
