Keno Davis Drake coach Keno Davis does not believe the Bulldogs will have a letdown as the regular season winds down. After clinching the Missouri Valley Conference title with two weeks remaining the 16th ranked Bulldogs had their 16-game home court winning streak snapped with a loss to Bradley.

Davis says you’re hopeful you don’t let down coming off a big victory or conference championship, and he says they’ve talked about that. He says they might have let down a little, but not intentionally, as he says they still want to be playing their best basketball at the end of the season.

Next up is a major challenge as the Bulldogs visit eighth ranked Butler as part of the BracketBusters. Davis says while it is a tough matchup the opportunity to get the program national exposure is a plus. Davis says you get the chance to challenge yourself against someone who won’t have as detailed a scouting report on you. Davis says it is a break from the non-conference, but he says it is tough to put a game in the middle of the 18 non-conference games. Drake is 23-3 on the season.
