The Iowa Hawkeyes are on the road to take on 17th ranked Michigan State in the Big Ten. The Hawks snapped a three game losing skid by rallying past Northwestern and figure to take on a Spartan team that will out for revenge. Iowa won the first matchup in bizarre fashion with a 43-36 victory in Iowa City.

Iowa coach Todd Lickliter who says the Hawks need to show they can compete in a hostile environment, even though it is tough. He says his team in those environments has struggled for some reason. The Hawks are 5-9 in the Big Ten and 12-15 overall. Michigan State is 9-4 in the league race and 21-5 overall.
