One man is dead, another is in jail, after a stabbing in a small western Iowa town. A 54-year-old man died at an Omaha hospital following a fight that reportedly involved knives and baseball bats in Neola last night. According to Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s officials, the incident occurred at 301 2nd Street, just after 8 PM Thursday.
Investigators says two men got into a fight. One of them was stabbed and flown by helicopter to an Omaha hospital where he later died. The other man was reportedly taken into custody. No names have been released.
