A man was arrested in the northeast Iowa town of Delhi after an armed standoff. At about 8:30 Wednesday evening, law officers were called to a resident in Delhi on the report of shots fired from a large caliber handgun.

When officers arrive, a man allegedly fired shots as them, then barricaded himself inside his home. No one was hurt, but bullets did strike a fire truck and some nearby buildings. After two-and-a-half hours, the man was arrested and faces charges of terrorism, reckless use of a firearm, disorderly conduct and interference with officials acts. The man’s name was not released.
