2A: Taylor Smith, Central Decatur

The junior pitcher was 3-0 on the week and in 21 innings of work gave up no earned runs, six hits and struck out 12 batters. In a regional tournament victory over Wayne, Smith tossed a complete game two hitter and struck out seven. She also helped her own cause on offense with an RBI, a stolen base and two runs scored.
