A southwest Iowa woman died, and three others were injured over the weekend during a single-vehicle rollover accident. Pottawattamie County Chief Deputy Jim Matthia says 22-year-old Sarah A. Moore, of Shenandoah, was ejected from an SUV she was in, when the vehicle rolled over just before noon Saturday, about seven-miles east of Macedonia.

The preliminary investigation indicates the 1994 Ford Explorer Moore was in was traveling west on Beechnut Road when the driver lost control and the SUV rolled into a ditch. The other occupants of the SUV, 46-year-old Alan Schwindamann of Atlantic, 37-year-old Michael Mundorf of Griswold, and 10-month-old Makenna Eschelman, were injured, and transported to hospitals in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area.

The driver of the vehicle has not yet been established. Deputy Matthai says the accident remains under investigation.
