The Fifth Annual Women in Denim Conference wraps up its second day today  at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake. Barb Campbell Determan describes the event. She says the conference is for women involved in or who touch agriculture in some way, from being a farm wife to working for an agribusiness.

Determan says this conference will have plenty of issues to discuss with the recent up and down farm prices. Determan says they’ll talk about the changing commodity prices, marketing, dealing with stress and they’ll have a panel of attorneys to talk about legal issues.

While the conference is called "Women in Denim," Determan says the attendees have a variety of experience in the ag field. Determan says there are women from all walks of life, occupations and ages. She says there are so many ways that women can be involved in agriculture in Iowa. The conference begins this morning at eight o’clock and runs until four P.M.
