The sophomore was a standout at the plate and on the mound for the Bulldogs. In four games Rose batted .615 with a double, a triple, eight RBI and also scored eight runs. She also was 2-0 as a pitcher and gave up no runs and struck out 17 batters in 10 innings of work. Rose was three-of-four with a triple, three RBI and scored two runs in a victory over Davenport North. She also earned the win on the mound by tossing a one hit shutout.
