The Radcliffe couple charged in the death of an infant have entered written pleas of not guilty.
Twenty-nine-year old Michael R. Meeker, Junior, and 21-year-old Angela Meeker submitted their written please late last week. The Meekers were to have been arraigned today in Hamilton County District Court in Webster City.
Last December the couple were charged in the death of 15-month-old Tanner Doran at his home in Jewell. Doran is the son of Angela Meeker. The cause of death, according to the State Medical Examiner’s office, was a homicide as Doran was killed by blunt force trauma to the head.
Michael Meeker, Junior, is charged with first degree murder with the bond set at one million dollars. Angela Meeker is charged with child endangerment causing death with her bond set at $500,000.
The couple remain in the Hamilton County Jail in Webster City.
