The freshman pitcher was 4-1 on the week and in 31 innings of work gave up only three earned runs, 15 hits and struck out 52 batters. She was also productive at the plate with a .375 average, two doubles, three RBI and four runs scored. Frain tossed a complete game three hitter and struck out 15 in a victory over Lewis Central. She also had a pair of hits, including the game winning two run double in the top of the sixth inning.
