The Iowa State Cyclones face a difficult week and it begins on Wednesday with a trip to Missouri. The Cyclones led tenth ranked Kansas State at halftime 35-31 but like a loss to Baylor, the early moments of the second half determined the outcome.

The Wildcats used a 17-2 run to take command in a 79-75 win. Denis Clemente led K-state with 30 points and made six of eight from three point range as the Wildcats moved to 6-3 in the big 12 and 19-4 overall. Craig Brackins led the Cyclones with 29 points and 12 rebounds. Marquis Gilstrap added 18.

I.S.U. is 2-6 in the league race and 13-10 overall. After the trip to Missouri the Cyclones make a trip to #1 Kansas.
