A Greene woman is dead after a snowmobiling accident over the weekend. The Iowa Department of Natural Resources says that 33-year-old Jamie Fox was operating a snowmobile on a trial south of Rockford at about 2:30 Saturday afternoon when she lost control and fell off. Fox was then struck by another snowmobile operated by 34-year-old Michelle Ruzicka of Marble Rock.
Fox died as a result of the accident. The incident remains under investigation by the DNR as well as the Iowa State Patrol and the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department.
