The first trip to the NCAA Tournament for the U.N.I. women ended with an 83-44 loss to fourth ranked Nebraska in Minneapolis. U.N.I. stayed close for the first 15 minutes, and then went cold shooting to trail 40-27 at the half. Nebraska started the second half with an 18-0 run and went on to the easy win. U.N.I. ends the season at 17-16.
