Two men are charged in federal court in Davenport with death by methadone. Twenty-eight-year-old Colby Josvanger and 20-year-old Jonathen Anderson are in police custody. They are charged with distribution of methadone resulting in death.

That’s in connection with the overdose and death of a Pleasant Valley teen in February 2009. Police found 18-year-old Zachary Sullivan dead at a friend’s house in Pleasant Valley after getting a 9-1-1 call. They found a substance on him that tested positive as methadone.

Doctors later said Sullivan had methadone, cocaine, marijuana, anti-depressants and other drugs in his system. A witness told police that Sullivan had bought methadone from Josvanger and that Anderson had arranged those drug deals.
