The trial began in Hamilton County District Court on May 19th. It was moved to Webster City on a change of venue from Floyd County due to pre-trial publicity.

The sentencing date of Concepcion is tentatively scheduled for July 19th at 1:30 in Floyd County District Court in Charles City.
