80/35 Music Festival: interview with Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes

California band Dawes played the 80/35 Music Festival in Des Moines Sunday. The four-piece outfit is lead by singer/guitarist Taylor Goldsmith. After a 50 minute set before an enthusiastic crowd, Goldsmith spoke with Radio Iowa’s Pat Curtis: click here to listen to interview MP3 runs 3:45

80/35 Music Festival: Yo La Tengo pulls crowd member to stage to play drums (video)

The 80/35 Music Festival opened Saturday in Des Moines. Main stage act Yo La Tengo pulled an audience member to the stage during their performance.
