Law officers aren’t giving out many details on raids conducted at homes in Charles City today. Witnesses in Charles City say they heard two shots this morning and called police, but Charles City police and the North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force were already on the scene. Witnesses say police were taking computers and other items from two houses.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff, who is in charge of the drug task force says the shots heard were “flash bangs” or small explosive charges fired into the house to distract the residents. Witnesses also reported police taking items from a third house.
