A Dyersville man is heading to prison on child pornography charges. Thirty-one-year old Kyle Conry was sentenced to more than five years in prison. Conry pleaded guilty to one count of possessing child pornography in April.

He admitted that between March 2007 and January 2008 he possessed child pornography on his computer. U.S. District Court Chief Judge Linda Reade sentenced Conry to 70 months inprisonment. Conry must also serve a ten-year term of supervised release after his prison term. He is being held in the U.S. Marshal’s custody until he can be transported to a federal prison.
