Authorities have yet to release the name of the person who was killed in a fiery four-vehicle pileup on Interstate 80 in central Iowa last night near the Baxter exit. The accident happened around 6:30 P.M. as state troopers say traffic was at a standstill. A Southern Cal Transportation semi-truck reportedly rear-ended a stopped SUV, which was pushed into a van and the van then hit another semi.

The first semi, the SUV and the van all caught fire. The name of the truck driver who allegedly caused the accident has not been released. There is no word yet on any charges. Westbound lanes of I-80 were closed for more than three hours.
