The merry-go-round at quarterback for U.N.I. will likely continue this week when the Panthers visit South Dakota. Zach Davis and Tirrell Rennie both played in an overtime loss at Southern Illinois last weekend.

Farley says Rennie had a good football game and the offensive line had a good game. He says he’s starting to lean toward going with what they do well and he says Rennie has shown he has done well and he felt Rennie did a good job leading the team Saturday.

Farlery says whether he plays one of two quarterbacks the Panthers are still making too many mistakes. He says they have to clean up the turnovers as they are causing problems even though they have a good rushing game. Farley says the passing game needs to become more efficient.

The Panthers are completing just over 50% of their passes which ranks last in the Missouri Valley Conference. Farley says they should be around 65% throwing and he says that can be controlled by the type of throws they make. He says it has some to do with the offense and timing issues.

U.N.I. is 2-3 overall, 2-1 in the conference.
