Davenport police are investigating the death of a three-year-old boy. The boy, whose name has not yet been released, was pronounced dead a little after 6 Tuesday night after being taken to a hospital emergency room. Police say the child’s mother was working, and her boyfriend took the child to the hospital. Police say they’re in the early stages of what they call an “intensive” investigation.
An autopsy is being scheduled with a forensic pathologist in hopes of determining the cause of death.
