The U.N.I. Panthers take the Missouri Valley Conference lead on the road to Youngstown State. The Penguins have dropped four straight games after starting the season 3-1, but all of the games were close.

Panther coach Mark Farley says Youngstown will always be good because of their background and tradition, and that always allows them to be in games and makes it a big game for his team. Eric Wolford is in his first season as the coach at Youngstown, and has a young football team that Farley says plays with a lot of energy.

With his first field goal or extra point Billy Hallgren will become U.N.I.’s all-time leading scorer. Farley says Hallgren struggled early with a back problem, but now he is hitting the ball right. He says you can tell when he is hitting the ball right by the way it sounds during a kick.
