Two young women in southwest Iowa face charges in connection with the weekend stabbing death of a young man. Authorities in Fremont County charged 17-year-old Jennifer Lee Tierney, of Hamburg, with second-degree murder, and 18-year-old Cayla Cheree Binder, of Sidney, with going armed with intent and accessory after the fact, in connection with the death of 19-year-old Douglas Mitchell Brake, of Sidney.

Officials say Brake died after he was stabbed during a fight that occurred at around 7:20 A.M. Sunday outside the Hamburg Post Office. An autopsy has been scheduled. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and Fremont County Sheriff’s Department are investigating the incident.
