Authorities in western Iowa’s Adair County say a Cass County man died last night in a single-vehicle accident east of Bridgewater. Authorities say 50-year-old Rick William Leander, of Massena, died at the scene of the crash that happened at around 7:45 P.M. on Tuesday.
Leander was driving a 1985 Chevrolet Caprice westbound on Highway 92, when he lost control of his vehicle at the intersection of Delta Avenue. The car left the road and hit a utility pole. The accident remains under investigation by the Adair County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from Bridgewater Fire & EMS and Adair County Ambulance.
