Durant High School is mourning the loss of a student killed in a car wreck. Sixteen-year-old Emily Bohnsack of Wilton died Sunday afternoon in Cedar County.
Officers say she ran a stop sign at a rural intersection and was hit by another car. Emily was a junior at Durant High and was active in choir, basketball, golf, volleyball and other activities. She also was an accomplished equestrian and won numerous awards.
