Authorities in western Iowa say an arrest has been made in Friday night’s stabbing death of a Council Bluffs woman.

Council Bluffs Police say 47-year old Clarence L. Woolsoncroft, of Council Bluffs, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in the slaying of 39-year old Tammy Lynn Rocha, of Council Bluffs.

Authorities were also seeking 43-year old Bryan E. Reeves, and 22-year old Lisa A. Reeves, for questioning, in connection with the incident. No motive was given for the murder.

Rocha was found by a passerby near the corner of 35th Street and 5th Avenue at around 7 p.m. Friday. Officials said she’d suffered from multiple stab wounds and walked about a half of a block before collapsing on the street. She later died at an Omaha hospital.

The woman had two daughters, and was living with her cousin and his wife in Council Bluffs.
